Pandit Lakhmi Chand Kalakar Samajik Samman Yojana has been started by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Under this scheme, encouragement will be given to the artists performing well at the international level and to the artists of the state of Haryana. For which the government will provide financial assistance of Rs.10,000/- to the eligible beneficiaries every month. This financial assistance given to the beneficiary artists will be sent directly to their bank account through DBT mode.

About 5000 artists are registered in the Art and Culture Department of Haryana. Out of which about 1000 artists are eligible for Pandit Lakhmi Chand Artist Social Honor Scheme. All these artists will be given financial amount on the basis of their merit and eligibility.
